The course for this requirement is DAL THEA 3313.03: Documentary, Experimental and Animated Film.
Unfortunately, due to limited teaching resources next year, we are not able to offer this course in 2012-13, but do not worry. If you are planning to graduate with a film minor and need this course, please contact Dr. David Nicol (David.Nicol@dal.ca) for a waiver of the requirement. You can take any other 3000-level course instead. If you would like a course that covers some of the same ground, try King’s College’s CTMP3304: Through Her Eyes: Women and the Documentary Tradition; or NSCAD’s AHIS 3850: History and Criticism of Documentary Film (see the electives timetable).
